Advisory Board Members
Jim Rothnie
Dr. Jim Rothnie has over thirty years of experience in the computer industry. Recently, he was Senior Vice President and Chief Technology Officer at EMC, the world’s largest supplier of data storage hardware and software. Prior to that, he served at Data General Corporation as Vice President of Software Development.
Dr. Rothnie was also Executive Vice President of Kendall Square Research, where he led the development of large-scale parallel computers and related software. He began his career at Computer Corporation of America, where he eventually rose to President and COO.
During his career, he has also served on the boards of several public and private companies as well as several non-profit organizations including the MIT Corporation Visiting Committee for the Libraries, and the Sheldon Township Economic Development Committee.
Dr. Rothnie holds a B.S. and Ph.D. from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology.
