Gordon Finnegan
Principal
Previous to joining Harbor Light Capital Partners, Gordon Finnegan worked on the Portfolio Management Team at First Western Trust, a private bank and investment manager in Jackson, WY. At First Western, he was responsible for supporting all aspects of a private bank's wealth management; financial planning, portfolio development, trust navigation, and implementation of First Western Trust’s customized investment management strategies. Strategies included proprietary funds, hedge funds, fund of funds, and both private and public assets. Gordon holds a BA from St. Olaf College in Economics and Finance.
Gordon currently sits on the boards of Teton Science Schools and Silicon Couloir. At Silicon Couloir he helps lead the annual Pitch Day, angel group selection committee, and is the board Treasurer. On the state level, Gordon is an advisor to the Wyoming Business Council for the Startup Wyoming program. Gordon lives in Jackson Hole, Wyoming with his fiance and Old English Sheepdog. He is often found in the mountains; when it’s snowing, he’s skiing, and when there are dry trails, he’s “training” for upcoming ultramarathons.
